The Community center equipment has the following specs, included with your reservation:
- Furniture: Tables and chairs for 120 guests, children's high chairs, electric range, microwave, refrigerator.
- Paper towels, trash bags, broom, and mop.
- No cleaning supplies or dishcloths are provided.
- No eating/serving utensils are provided.
- No dishes or glasses are provided.
- Grills are furnished in the park
NO PERSONAL GRILLS OR FRYERS ARE ALLOWED ON THE PREMISES.
RESERVATION RULES
- The Harmony Community Center is available for rental between 10 AM and 10 PM.
- Reservation application and payment must be received when the reservation is made.
- Cancellation must be made NO less than 30 days before the reservation date.
- Maximum number of people per Fire Code: 120 people.The
- Community Center application does not include the Tomlinson-Moore Family Park picnic shelter. Separate application and payment are required.
- NO alcoholic beverages, drugs, firearms, or animals are allowed on the premises.
- NO loud or excess noise (only small stereo systems are permitted).
- NO smoking in the Community Center Building.
- NO nails, screws, staples, tape, or fixtures of any kind may be applied to the walls, woodwork, floors, or ceiling.
- If anything is out of order, please report it to the Town Hall immediately (704-546-2339) or call Wanda Edwards (704-450-2447).
- The building is to be left clean — including the kitchen and restrooms.
- A reimbursement for cost of furniture, equipment, etc, that is misplaced, damaged or destroyed by the undersigned.
- NO PERSONAL GRILLS OR FRYERS ARE ALLOWED ON THE PREMISES.
- FAILURE TO COMPLY WITH RULES AND REGULATIONS WILL RESULT IN FORFITURE OF DEPOSIT
POST RESERVATION CHECKLIST
- Remove all personal items from the refrigerator.
- Wipe all counters, tables, chairs, and appliances clean.
- Sweep all floors — Mop kitchen and bathrooms.
- All garbage in the building and yard MUST BE TAKEN OFF PREMISES.
- Make certain all appliances are turned off — except the refrigerator.
- Turn the air conditioner thermostat to 75 degrees in summer and to 50 degrees in winter.
- Turn off all lighting and fans.
- All doors and windows must be locked when leaving.
IF you WANT TO DECORATE THE DAY BEFORE YOUR EVENT (AND THE BUILDING IS NOT RENTED THAT DAY), you CAN GO IN AND DECORATE BETWEEN THE HOURS OF 3 PM AND 5 PM FOR AN ADDITIONAL CHARGE OF $50.00.
STATEMENT OF DISCLAIMER
In leasing Tomlinson-Moore Family Park and/or Harmony Community Center to you (the applicant and their guests), the Town of Harmony does not assume any responsibility for the loss of or damages to any property placed on the premises by the user or for loss or damages to any property or personal effects, including motor vehicles and their contents or the user, its members, employees, agents, participants, guests or attendees.
In renting, leasing, or making available Tomlinson-Moore Family Park and/or Harmony Community Center, the Town of Harmony does not assume any responsibility for any personal injuries that may occur from property placed on the premises by the user, its members, employees, agents, participants, guests, invitees or attendees,
The undersigned will assume all responsibility for the loss of, or damages to, any property placed on the premises of Tomlinson-Moore Family Park and/or Harmony Community Center by the user, its members, employees, agents, participants, guests, invitees, or attendees.
The undersigned hereby agrees to indemnify the Town of Harmony with respect to personal injury resulting from property placed or used on Tomlinson-Moore Family Park and/or Harmony Community Center by the undersigned, and its members. employees, agents, invitees, participants, guests or attendees. Likewise, the undersigned hereby agrees to indemnify the Town of Harmony against any claims brought or actions filed against the Town of Harmony with respect to the loss or damage to any property or personal effects, including motor vehicles and their contents by the undersigned, its members, employees, agents, participants, guests. invitees or attendees placed or used on the Tomlinson-Moore Family Park and/or Harmony Community Center. This obligation of indemnity extends to any and all liability, loss or damages, including court costs and attorney fees that the Town of Harmony may suffer because of the matters indemnified against. I have received a written copy of these rules and regulations and agree to the terms stated therein.
